Job Description
Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT KGP) is seeking applications from highly qualified and motivated candidates for a faculty position in Mathematics.
The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching mathematics courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students, conducting high-quality research, supervising student projects and contributing to the academic activities of the Department of Mathematics.
Key Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate Mathematics courses.
Prepare lectures, assignments, examinations and course materials.
Conduct independent and collaborative research in Mathematics.
Publish research findings in reputed national and international journals.
Supervise undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D. research projects.
Mentor and guide students in academic and research activities.
Participate in seminars, conferences and departmental activities.
Develop and contribute to new courses and curriculum initiatives.
Apply for and contribute to sponsored research projects.
Participate in academic administration and other institutional responsibilities.
